It just wouldn't be the Fourth of July without family, and since I am spending the weekend with the lots and lots of my favorite big and little people, I thought I would get everyone involved with our Fourth of July Cupcakes!
After preparing 24 chocolate and 24 yellow cupcakes, my daughter, Anna, and I sorted a variety of red, white and blue candies.
The kids needed no further invitation.
Their only instructions were to decorate the cupcakes with all red, all white, or all blue candies.
